The biannual conference of the European Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine and Biology ESMRMB will be held in Marseille from 8 to 11 October 2025. The following five contributions will be presented:

  • Extensive experimental validation through MRI thermometry of hybrid model for bioheat transfer in microwave ablation of liver and reconstruction of the temperature field near the needle by Ida Burgers
  • PHYSICS-INFORMED TEMPERATURE FIELD RECONSTRUCTION IN THERMAL ABLATION VALIDATED USING MRI THERMOMETRY by Mariana De Melo Antunes.
  • Magnetic resonance thermometry validation of bioheat transfer model for lesion size prediction in liver tumor microwave ablation procedures by Nino Avetikovi.
  • by Dr. Manon Desclides.
  • A subvoxel correction of boiling-induced susceptibility artifacts in magnetic resonance thermometry and dosimetry for monitoring microwave thermoablation presented by myself. PG262
